Active domain shows nothing after all files uploaded

I have done this before with same online software, no issues - successful webpage. For this free hosting site I waited for my domain name to be active, now when I click on the link, it just shows a page with mywebpagename.iceiy.com and related links - same thing it did before it was active. My files are in the htdocs folders where they should be.....what is wrong?

Clearing your cache and cookies will also help, or try to open your website in a new private window.

If you just created your account, you have to wait upto 72 hours (3 days) for the domain to propagate.
Most of the time, you have to wait 30 min to 1 hour. 🙂

If you can get out of the way, you will find that FTP servers are a lot more forgiving than a lot of people think. They may seem at first like they must live in a very unforgiving world. Domain names change, companies shut down and the sites disappear, but ironically, the FTP server manages to survive quite well.
